Aion 2 Crafting Guide

Five disciplines, three crafting systems and the Splendent proc mechanic — covering all global regions (EU / NA / SA / JP) equally. Which profession to pick, what to craft when, and how to turn Kinah profit in launch month.

The Three Systems

Standard Crafting

Produce items from recipes: gather the material list, craft at the station. Every craft carries a 'Splendent' proc chance — on proc the item jumps one quality tier.

Transfer Crafting

Re-forge an existing crafted item into a higher tier: old item + extra materials → new item. This is how mid-tier crafted gear becomes endgame-viable.

Substance Morph

Convert raw materials into refined components: every recipe's refined parts can be morphed from raw gatherables instead of buying them off the AH.

The Five Disciplines

Every character can access every discipline; your specialization plan matters.

Blacksmithing

Blacksmithing

Metal melee weapons: greatswords, longswords, daggers, maces and shield components.

Tank & melee DPS progression

Armorsmithing

Armorsmithing

Plate and chain armor: the core of Templar and Cleric gear.

Templar / Cleric

Handicrafting

Handicrafting

Accessories, bows and wooden/stone components — the highest AH margin lives here.

Ranger / Chanter / profit crafting

Alchemy

Alchemy

Potions, scrolls and oils — the only category that sells 24/7.

Everyone — launch's most reliable income

Cooking

Cooking

Buff food and stat consumables — the mandatory PvE / PvP drain.

Every raid-going class

What You Can Craft — Real Recipe Families

The major craft families verified from KR/TW live data and slated for global launch. Note the dual names: each family drops as a normal version AND a 'Splendent' proc version — the proc tier is one quality step higher.

Launch-Month Crafting Plan

  1. 1Week 1: commit to Alchemy + Cooking — stock your own consumables, sell the excess on AH
  2. 2Week 1: SKIP Armorsmithing/Blacksmithing — everyone dumps quest gear, crafted blues sell below cost
  3. 3Week 2: craft Handicrafting accessories — jewelry slots are the last BiS gaps, margin is high
  4. 4Week 3: park materials for Transfer Crafting projects — push your crafted set toward endgame viability
  5. 5Daily: run your herb/ore gathering circuit with Substance Morph materials in mind
